I finally made it to the craft store and picked up some supplies I needed.  I posted in December this block ornament idea to use for wedding mementos from The Crafting Chics tutorial.

I love the look!  All I need to do is add a tiny hook and some ribbon and I will have a great ornament for the newlyweds for their Christmas tree.  These would make great gifts for parents, grandparents and bridal party also.  Just customize them by including a picture or two of them on the cube also. My husband saw these and said he wanted a couple to put on his desk at work.    Mine are 2 inch square cubes I picked up from Michaels craft store so they’re not large.

A helpful hint.  I painted the sides with black acrylic paint first and let it dry completely before I added the pictures.  I just wanted more of a finished edge.
